When good hearted people come together, when intention aligns, light is not just sparked…it grows and grows, becoming ever more intense.
The rising up and coming together of communities to resist racism, to stand ground against violence, and to send a message of inclusion to those who have often risked their lives in search of a safer, better life is undoubtedly playing its part in dampening the civil unrest that has blighted Britain’s streets and communities in recent days.
It reminds me of the effect of numerous mass meditation experiments across the world which have had a transforming reductive effect on the levels of crime, disorder/violence and accidents in those urban areas where the meditation practice took place.
The positive we have seen unfolding over the past few days is a powerful reminder of the difference each of us can make to creating a better world for all. Our thoughts, our words, our actions, shaped with care, are essential gifts we can bring to this endeavour.
At heart are our intentions – the seeds we shape, plant and nurture under the guidance of our higher self, infused with love for our planet and fellow creatures, oriented in service of the greater good. By carrying these intentions in our heart each day we’ll be joining with others and, little by little, in every interaction, we’ll be making progress to that better world.
